ENCRYPTX Announces OEM Relationship with Micron Technologies and Lexar Media

OEM and Development Partnership with Micron Technologies Inc. and Lexar Media, a worldwide leader in flash memory removable and storage drive offerings for SecurFlash Anti-Virus scanning and protection solution for Lexar branded flash drives.

ENCRYPTX Corporation (a BeCompliant Company), a leading provider of data security and policy management solutions for removable storage devices, today announced a new OEM contract with Lexar Media, a wholly owned subsidiary of Micron Technologies, a leading worldwide provider of flash memory and flash drive solutions. Lexar will OEM the SecurFlash Version 10 Anti-Virus/Malware scanning and drive protection solution for deployment on Lexar Media branded USB storage drives that are targeted for government and enterprise sales.

The new SecurFlash V10 Anti-Virus and Malware scanning product, part of the SecurFlash™ suite of solutions from ENCRYPTX, is installed on and runs from a USB attached storage drive. The solution protects the drive from being infected from malware and viruses on any computer that the storage drive is used, and also prevents the hosts from being infected by the drive. The product also provides automatic updates of Anti-Virus signature files, and uses existing McAfee based enterprise Anti-Virus software deployed on servers and computers in the enterprise for updates. The product also blocks non scanable files from being used on USB storage devices.
