ENCRYPTX Announces OEM Relationship with Gemalto
OEM and Development Partnership with Gemalto, a worldwide leader in digital security and identity management solutions for SecurFlash Anti-Virus scanning solution for Gemalto removable storage offerings.

ENCRYPTX Corporation (a BeCompliant Company), a leading provider of data security and policy management solutions for removable storage devices, today announced a new OEM contract with Gemalto, a leading market provider of security, identity management, and secure portable storage solutions. Gemalto will OEM the SecurFlash Version 10 Anti-Virus/Malware scanning solution for deployment on Gemalto branded USB storage drives.

Gemalto is truly a market leader and we are grateful that we can work with a company that has such advanced identity management solutions given the various market requirements for use of smart cards to provide dual authentication with USB devices. We plan on including additional administrative management information about Smart Card and token authentication for USB devices in our upcoming DeviceDefender Administrative Server solution to be released later this summer."
The new SecurFlash V10 Anti-Virus and Malware scanning product, part of the SecurFlash™ suite of solutions from ENCRYPTX, is installed on and runs from a USB attached storage drive. The solution protects the drive from being infected from malware and viruses on any computer that the storage drive is used, and also prevents the hosts from being infected by the drive. The product also provides automatic updates of Anti-Virus signature files, and uses existing McAfee based enterprise Anti-Virus software deployed on servers and computers in the enterprise for updates. The product also blocks non scanable files from being used on USB storage devices.
